Sandalwood's most expected movie, "Chamak" of Simple Suni and Golden Star Ganesh blend, has recently finished a fight sequence in Bangalore. Be that as it may, Ganesh was sick amid the time of shooting!

The sequence was held at the football stadium in front of Chamarajpet's Deer Park, throughout the previous three days. Suni had intended to shoot a fight sequence and a song. Ganesh has been shooting throughout the previous three days for this exceptional fight sequence, in between the Holi celebration.

And now, Rashmika Mandanna is all set to star opposite Vijay Devarakonda in a Tollywood movie. Recently, Vijay Devarakonda got a huge success in his second flick "Arjun Reddy".

Rashmika and Vijay starrer movie is being directed by "Srirastu Shubhamastu" fame Parasuram, and produced by Allu Aravind & Bunny Vas. 

Rashmika took to her Twitter page to share her excitement on signing the project as she tweeted, "Yaaay..!! thankyou @Ga2Pictures for letting me be a part of you.. @ParasuramPetla and @DVijaySai can't wait to start off.. thankyou!! Earlier, there were reports that Lavanya Tripathi will be the leading lady, who'll be acting opposite Deverakonda. The makers had to eventually hunt for someone else for the role after Tripathi opted out of the film. Finally, Rashmika Mandanna has been selected.

The film is said to go on floors very soon and after Arjun Reddy's success, a lot is expected of this film.

Recently, Real Star Upendra's daughter Aishwarya made her debut in the movie Second Half, featuring Priyanka Upendra.

And Now, Golden Star Ganesh's daughter Charitriya will be making her Sandalwood debut through the flick "Chamak", featuring Ganesh, being directed by Simple Suni. The movie Chamak is being produced by T R Chandrasekhar.

Power star Puneeth Rajkumar and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Anjaniputra effectively finishes 80% of its shoot.

Harsha's directional film Anjaniputhra highlights Bollywood actor Mukesh Tiwari and South India's renowned actress Ramya Krishna in the pivotal roles.

Presently, the film is being shot in Rajasthan. After Rajasthan schedule, the team is going to Scotland to shoot the songs.

The film is being produced by M N Kumar, has music composed by Ugramm fame Ravi Basrur.

The new Sandalwood couple, Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna got engaged in a grand ceremony on Monday at Serenity Marriage Hall, which is owned by Rashmika's father Madan Mandanna, located at Rashmika's home town in Karnataka.

While, Rashmika Mandanna wore a pale pink gown with embellished bodice designed by Shraddha Ponnappa, while Rakshit wore a beige three piece suit with a complementary tie. The engagement happend within the sight of their relatives and well-wishers.

The engagement happened in both Coastal and  Kodava traditions, and the guests were treated to Kodava and North Indian delicacies at the function. Even North Indian and Chinese items were on the menu.

Meanwhile, since Rashmika & Rakshit are right now occupied with their shooting responsibilities, marriage will occur after two years, said reports.

Asking an apology, she said that her upbringing would never allow her to make such comments on anyone.

While, the captain of the ship, Rishab Shetty brought home the Black Lady for being the Best Director. Samyukhta Hegde was the Best Supporting Actress, B Ajaneesh Loknath the Best Music Director, Vijay Prakash the Best Singer (Male) for Belageddu song and​ Rakshit Shetty the Best Actor (Critics Choice).

In addition, Rashmika Mandanna exhibited Rakshit Shetty the award, making the win substantially more unique.

The shooting of Puneeth Rajkumar's up next film Anjaniputra has been kept on hold, as he lost most cherished one, Parvathamma Rajkumar.

Puneeth had cancelled all his work commitments, including the film's shoot, to be by his mother Parvathamma Rajakumar's side, who breathed her last on May 31. 

Starting at now, 50 percent of the shooting is finished. The whole film is being shot in Bengaluru in some exceptional sets made for the film.

The shooting for Anjaniputra will resume on June 22 after the landing of Harsha, who as of now occupied with song shoot of Bharjari in Slovenia.

This flick is produced by M N Kumar, highlights Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead with Hariprriya making a cameo appearance. The flick also highlights Ramya Krishna, Mukesh Tiwari, Ravi Shankar in other pivotal roles.

For the first time choreographer​ turned director Harsha is directing Puneeth Rajkumar in the same where Kirik Party fame Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead. Multi-language actress Ramya Krishna is playing a special role in the flick.

Now the latest update is, Hariprriya will be dancing with Puneeth Rajkumar in his intro song. A source reveals, Harsha was in search of an actress who can match steps with Puneeth & finally decided with Hariprriya. Currently, Hariprriya is busy with Chiranjeevi Sarja-starrer Samhaara directed by Guru Deshpande.

• What makes your current year's birthday special?

Usually, I don't plan anything for my birthday & will not have any idea regarding what will happen on my birthday. So, I don't know what to say regarding the same (Smiles). If friends visit my home, will celebrate with them, if not, as usual, will celebrate with my family.

• What's the most precious & memorable gift that you received till date?

The most precious gift was my Sister (Shiman Mandanna), four years back.

• Any resolutions​ on your birthday?

You just tell me, how many resolutions to make? One for New Year, One for Ugadi & now again one for Birthday?? (Laughs)

Jokes apart, my one resolution for any occasion that won't change throughout my life is, to make my family & friends always SMILE.

• Till last year, you were celebrating your birthday among your family & friends. But, this year you'll celebrate among your fans too. So, Your comment?

(Smiles) Actually, I would never like to use the word 'fans' for those who love me, because I'm not grown up to that extent. So, I would love to define them as my best family/friends.

Btw, As I mentioned above, I haven't planned anything yet & have to decide how to celebrate my birthday with my family/friends, once I'm back home from shooting.

• As age increases, Responsibilities increases. Right?

Responsibilities in my life had already started a way long back. So, no extra responsibilities to be added & have to maintain the same responsibilities that I've right now.

• How's your current day-to-day routine? Are you busy?

Daily I wake up at 6AM, will visit the shooting spot & will practice all my dialogues. After completing my shoot, will be back home at 6PM or 8PM & then I'll move towards the gym & will return​

back home after attending a kind of tution. Before I go to sleep, I'll spend a few hours with my family​.

So, this is my present day-to-day routine. Actually, I'm not busy, but kind of busy.

• What do you want, commerical success or critical acclaim?

I want peoples LOVE!

• What matters to you more -- Awards or Appreciation?

Appreciation.

• What are your yet-to-be-fulfiled aspirations?

Umm.. For now, just to make people say that they are proud of me. After that, gift my parents a big big home :)

• A message to all your fans who're celebrating your birthday..

I don't know.. They all have accepted me very well. They all are showering me with lots of love. I know, it's cliché if I say just Thank You because, everyone says the same. If I'm speaking with you today, it's just because of my entire family. If my name exists throughout my life, that too is just because of them. So, I always owe to them.

I'll definitely​ deliver extra extra extra hardwork to make my entire family/friends happy & feel proud about me. Meanwhile, I request everyone to keep supporting me, so that, it'll make me feel very happy & to complete my works with a delightful smile.

'Kirik Party' girl Rashmika Mandanna, current crush of Karnataka is very busy in shooting for 'Anjaniputhra' ft. Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. Very Shortly she will be joining up with other projects with co-stars Darshan and Ganesh in 'Tharak' & 'Chamak' respectively.

A talent discovered by Rakshith Shetty while casting for Kirik Party, is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with Naga Sourya, directed by Venky. The yet-to-be-titled flick is a perfect Rom-Com entertainer where both the leads will have a very bubbly and fun characters, says a source. The shooting​ is planned to go on floors from June.

Between, Rashmika has also bagged a chance to act opposite Prabhas. Since she has already committed for two Kannada films, the project is still in talks and nothing is finalized.
