Kotigobba 2 got massive response all over karnataka as well as in Tamilnadu with its Tamil version MUDINJA IVANA PUDI. Kotigobba 2 is a complete family entertainer which is doing a fabulous job at the box office.
It is reported that the movie has did a business of Rs 22 Crores including Rs 6.5 crore from BKT region in just 4 days of its release. Kotigobba 2 turned out to create records at the box office.
Kotigobba 2 is the fastest Kannada film to cross Rs20 Crores. No other film in Kannada has crossed Rs 20 Crores in just 4 days that also only in Karnataka . The box office collections of Tamil version Mudinja Ivana Pudi are yet to be reported. If we estimate the Tamilnadu collections of Kotigobba 2 it may be Rs 10 Crores, the total box office collections of Kotigobba 2 are around Rs 32 Crores. This is all time record and the movie has a scope for more collections in the coming up days.
One of the distributor MANJU who released the film in Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkuru regions (BKT). All the six distributors from the seven areas of Karnataka gathered in Bangalore on Tuesday at a press meet to unveil how the film has fared at the box office and announced all details. He also said that the collection in BKL have exceeded opening weekend collections of all previous films of Sudeep. Even Sudeep & Ravishankar joined them at the press meet.
"The festival release saw only the fans watching it .It was only after the evening shows that family audience started coming to theaters. But the following days were humongous . Let's hear it from the distributors themselves", said by Sudeep.
