Sensational Kannada movie "Neer Dose" finally secured an 'A' certificate, without cuts & is set to be out in the theatres on September 2.
Director Vijaya Prasad has won a three-year-old battle inorder to get this certification. The movie’s release was being delayed for various reasons. The director is obviously delighted but it has not been an easy wait. He says, “ *I want to enjoy this success in silence and in solitude* ”
Vijay does not want to get into the emotional feeling he went through, and says that his main aim was always that he did not let the film go.
“ *In spite of many obstacles, an inner courage stared fear down*” he says.
He can relate to Neer Dose’s tagline - *ತಾಳ್ಮೆ ಮೌನ ಸಹನೆ ದೌರ್ಬಲ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಅಸ್ತ್ರ* which means, ‘Nothing can be considered as a weakness, if you take it up as a weapon’.

He says that perseverance is a magical talisman in front of which all hurdles vanish.
“Every word in the tagline has been proved with my film and my life. I am happy that the trailer and songs have set a record and is trending on social media with 19 lakh views”

He says that his confidence never wavered thanks to the movie’s content. “I have time and again told people that I could have given up on this project and taken another one, but they will know the reason why I stuck around, when they watch the film,” says Vijaya, adding that his debut film Sidlingu was his anchor. “It created an interest in my next project... Even through unhappy moments like when Ramya exited the film, I believe that people knew that there has to be something catchy in the film for me to keep at it,” he says.
Thanking his wife and daughter, he says they always stood by him. He credits music director Anoop Seelin and Jaggesh for their unstinting support. “Without the producers, Skkandda Entertainers, none of us would have seen the movie’s release,” he says.
The film will release in around 120 theatres and will be among the six films on the screens during the Ganesha festival.
