Parvathamma Raajakumar no more: Body will be laid to rest next her husband

Kannada film maker and distributor Parvathamma Rajkumar, a compel to figure with in the film industry apart from being the spouse of Kannada legendary artist late Dr. Rajkumar, passed away here on Wednesday after a drawn out sickness. She was 77 and was experiencing breast cancer for quite a while, and was as of late admitted to M.S. Ramaiah Healing center in the city. She was put on helped ventilation for over 15 days as a group of master specialists were continually observing her wellbeing conditions.

She passed on at around 4.40AM because of cardiac arrest, the specialists said.

Raghavendra Rajkumar said all her three children including Shivarjkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar were at her bedside when she inhaled her last.


Raghavendra Rajkumar said that, Parvathamma's eyes were given according to his late father's desire. Rajkumar, who passed away in 2006, too had donated his eyes. Specialists from Narayana Netralaya took away Pravathamma's eyes.

Parvathamma's body will be buried at Kanteerava Studios at around 6.30PM close to Rajkumar's grave.
Born on sixth of December in 1939, she wedded Mutthuraj in 1953, who later went ahead to achieve the demigod status as Dr. Rajkumar by acting in more than 200 Kannada films. She was just 13 when she got married. Frankly speaking, she was both 'real and reel' constrain behind Dr. Rajkumar's huge achievement apart from overseeing such a colossal family with more than twelve individuals under one rooftop in Madras before permanently moving to Bengaluru.
