The famous South Indian actress Bhavana was kidnapped by her former driver, and his friends on the night of February 17 in Kochi. The men, who reportedly set her free towards February 18th morning near the house of a filmmaker in Kakkanadu. The 30-year-old actress lodged a police complaint later in the night.
Police arrested Martin, who was allegedly driving the actor’s car. After examining his call log, they found he was in constant touch with Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni, now identified as the main accused.
The Cops have registered the case of abduction and molestation, are investigating about the incident. It was reported that she was allegedly molested and video was shot by the gang of men to blackmail the actress, threatening to post them on social media if she went to the police.
The actress has worked in more than 75 films in several languages including Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. She made her acting debut when she was 16 years old.
