Bollywood box office king Salman Khan's latest Eid release SULTAN released on July 6. This movie is expected to shatter the first day record of SS Rajamouli's epic film BAAHUBALI - The Beginning but surprisingly fell well short.
Baahubali - The Beginning collected Rs45Cr net on Day 1 from all the languages it was released in but Sulthan only collected Rs.36.54Cr in first day.
Even though Sultan was released in more screens than Baahubali count, the wrestler failed to flight in a box office akhada with the warrior on first day collection.
However sulthan registered excellent figures on day 2 by collecting over 40Cr.
We have to see wether sulthan can beat overall collection of Baahubali in its full run or not
