Actor Rana Daggubati, who gave a stellar execution as Bhallaladeva in Telugu blockbuster "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" may wear the part of Bheema in the up coming Kannada movie "Kurukshethra". 

After the makers failed to rope in actors like Shivarajkumar and Kichcha Sudeep to play unmistakable parts in the movie, they are in talks with Rana Dagubatti. However nothing has been affirmed yet.

Meanwhile, Rana will assume the part of CBI officer D R Karthikeyan in the AMR Ramesh's flick "Aaspota".

Producer Munirathna has approached Rana to assume the part of Bheema in the film, where Challenging Star Darshan will play Duryodhana's part.

The shooting for the multi-starrer venture will start on July 23 and it is probably going to hit the screens in January 2018. There, however, is no word on who'll be the main woman of the film or different artistes liable to be a piece of the venture.

Naganna, the director of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, will coordinate Kurukshetrhra and Harikrishna will make the music.

Around 80% of the film will be shot in Rajasthan and the rest of the part will be picturised at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The financial backing is evaluated to be near Rs.300Cr, greatest ever in Sandalwood history.

CHALLENGING STAR DARSHAN is gearing up for the release of his 48th flick ‘Chakravarthy’. Currently Box-Office Sulthan is busy shooting for his 49th flick 'Taarak'.

As everyone know, there were lots of talks regarding Darshan's 50th flick. Initially, it was believed that Darshan's brother will direct his 50th flick & will be titled as 'Sarvantarayami'. Later on, it was said that the 'Chowka' director TARUN SUDHIR will direct Darshan's​ 50th flick. These updates had lead confusions among Darshan's fans.

But, now it is officially confirmed that  Darshan's​ 50th flick will be directed by NAGANNA. Yes! He was the man behind the blockbuster 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’. So, this duo will re-unite once again and the flick is titled as ‘KURUKSHETRA’, which is an adaptation of MAHABHARATHA. It's been said that Darshan will be playing the role of DURYODHANA. The rest of the casting of the film is still on hold.

Hope this duo will recreate history is KFI like they had done in their previous flick. Darshan’s fans are totally excited to see him once again in an historical character.
